I posted this on Facebook a while back, but I find myself going back to it and watching it over and over. This video is so awesome it actually made me like this song, because now whenever it comes on the radio I think of Kirk's crew gettin' funky on the Enterprise, rather than a Wal-Mart GaGa who needs to take a shower. *snerk*

This seems to be a recurring theme in my life. I'll loathe a pop song with every fiber of my being, then someone will use it in an awesomely hilarious AMV, and suddenly I think it's the best shit ever...take, for example, the amazing Haruhi Suzumiya AMV The Harassment of Kyon...now whenever I hear "Girlfriend" I cheerfully think of yaoi instead of how much I hate Avril Lavigne. UPGRADE!

Does this stuff happen to any of you guys?
