Okay, so the Last-Minute Fanime Panic (TM) is finally starting to set in.
I'm getting the distinct impression that Mike's costume is actually easier than mine, despite the fact that it SHOULD be far more complicated. I think it's because his costume comes with complete directions, whereas I had to adapt mine a lot more...let's just say I'm flying by the seat of my pants on some of this. I've gotten over the major hurdles, but I have to do some hem work and get the black straps together, and I still haven't figured out how to do the silver triangle-shaped buttons yet. Fanime is in five days. @_@ IT'LL BE OKAY THOUGH. I'm gonna make Mike come over tomorrow and watch me make piping. Or attempt to make piping.
I made a packing list, and I'm embarrassed by how much stuff is on it. GAAAH.
But a temporary schedule is up at Fanime.com, as well as a detailed list of their video programming. I cannot WAIT until this weekend. And Pirates of the Caribbean comes out Friday, so there may be some piratey fun thrown in with all the anime. :)
MIKE. I have two questions for you:
1) Do you have an decent iron and an ironing board at your place? (I'm sure you do, but I have to ask JUST IN CASE).
2) Should I drive myself down there on Thursday and use that "unclaimed" parking spot for the whole four days, or should you come pick me up at my house and drive me back when the weekend is over?
