I should be doing homework
I love this whole Jr. High thing...and hate it at the same time. TOO MUCH HOMEWORK! Blaaaah...I hate waking up at 7. It sucks...A LOT! I am so glad that Thursday is a late start. I can finally sleep in and not go to school exhausted. Anyways..this weekend was so much fun.
OK, before I tell you what happened I have to explain the story of Naomi or you will be totally confused when you read what happened.
Ok so..Naomi (nay-oh-me..not ny-oh-me) Golden has been my best friend since we were 3. So we grew up together in the same neighborhood, 3 houses down from each other. But almost 4 years ago, her parents (Tim and Kelly) got a divorce. So they had to sell the house that we grew up in (we basically lived at each other's houses..we're like sisters). So Tim moved from Savage Minnesota to freaking Duluth Minnesota which is 4 1/2 hours away. Kelly moved from Savage, to Eagan..which is only about 20 minutes away.
So Kelly married Paul..and had Caleb, then Katie.
So all of Naomi's brothers and sister are..

On Thursday I got a call from Kelly, and she said that she had the kids this weekend. So anyways...she said that for Naomi's birthday, she was going to get Naomi's ears pierced. Finally. Her insane dad had set the age limit for ear piercing at freaking 16. But her mom talked some sense into him and so he finally agreed that she could have it done. So she comes to my house to pick me up on Friday night with the baby. So she brings Caleb and Katie and came into my house and talked to my mom for like an hour an a half (My parents are good friends with Paul and Kelly, not Tim anymore though, because he is a serious psychopath) Ok..so anyways, we finally left and had to drive to Minneapolis to Naomi's uncles house to pick her, Noah, and Victoria up. Naomi didn't know I was coming, so when she walked out of the house and saw me, she screamed then ran up and hugged me. So we were driving and finally got to her house. We played with Katie and watched tv and stayed up until 2:30 in the morning. It was fun!
So the next morning we got up at 8:30, very tired, but still awake. We played with Katie some more, and fed her and stuff. I got her dressed and accidentally put the ones on backwards. Oh well. But anyways, Naomi had NO idea that she was getting her ears pierced, so when her mo told Naomi that she was getting this great present the night before, on the way home she kept trying to guess it. Ok but anyways, she still was trying to guess it the next day. After a while, we left the house at about 11, and went to the mall. On the way there she tried to guess the present some more, and she was like.."Am I getting my ears pierced??" And I froze..so I just said no and she was like...ooooh.ok. So then Kelly was like, you are getting a dog, We are going to the pet store and you get to pick it out. So she was like seriously??? And we didn't have her convinced, so we just said that we were going shopping.
So we got to the mall and first had something to eat. Chinese. YUMM! Then we just looked around stores. And then we went into the store DEB and she bought this really adorable outfit. Noah wanted to go to this store called Air Traffic...it has all these weird toys and stuff, so Kelly took him, Caleb, Victoria, and Katie in there while Naomi and I went into Sears so she could put on her new outfit in the bathroom.
So we went into the bathroom and it is HUGE! There is like..this little room that you go to and it's like a waiting room for the bathroom, and then you go into the bathroom and that's big too. But when she tried to go into the stalls, she couldn't because like 3 of them weren't flushed (2 of that 3 had reallllly huge pieces of crap in them) and 1 was out of order. We finally found one, she got dressed, and we headed out. So we go into the Air Traffic store, and find them, then we go to the dollar store for a while. THEN...finally we headed downstairs to Claires...we went by and you could see it from a distance because it is all pink and glittery and is really girly and stuff, and so I was like..."Naomi..lets just head on over to this pretty little pink store." And her eyes widened when she saw the huge purple sign in the window that said FREE EAR PIERCING!
So we walk in, and me and her mom were just like HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! You are getting your ears pierced. She was really excited and her mom was getting her 2nd ear piercing done because it was starting to close up and so she said that she would go first. But..she only said that so Naomi wouldn't back out when she saw it done. So then the ear piercer lady was like you get to go first..and Naomi started to back out. But she sat in the chair anways. The lady cleaned her ear and drew the little dots on and showed Naomi what it looked like, and what she was going to do. But then minute she pulled out the gun..Naomi backed her head away and stated to cry..So I was like squeeze my hand and so she did and the lady pierced her first ear. She cried more and squeezed my hand harder and then she was finally done. She still cried after, but then I was just like "Oh my god Naomi..you made my hand numb!!" That made her laugh, which was good.
She got the September birthstone earring. She said that her ears stung a lot after. Mine didn't sting..but she has sensitive skin. So after we just looked at earrings for a while. then we finally left. We got back to her house at like 3..and watched more tv, and played with Katie some more, and then we had dinner, and I came home at like 9:00!
So that was my very, long weekend story!
