(FANMIX) Frozen - Anna and Elsa - Feel the Silence
A fanmix for waywardmixes' round #22, Female Relationships. I was first going to make a mix about Tatsuki and Orihime from Bleach, but then Frozen was released here in Brazil and MY GOD THAT MOVIE IS SO AWESOME. I've always been a Disney fan, but it's been a while since I've actually obsessed about a Disney movie after I've watched it. *-* About the song chasing, I think this is the first time that putting together the art was more fun than actually listening to the songs. And the art didn't even wind up good. T.T

Feel the Silence - An Anna and Elsa Fanmix
THE MOVIE:
Frozen is Disney's 53rd entry into the animated canon. It was released in November 2013 and has become the first Disney film to ever win a Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film. It's also running for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song in the 2014 Academy Award.
THE CHARACTERS:
Anna and Elsa are sisters, and the film's two protagonists. The princesses of Arendelle were good friends when children -- until the day Elsa accidentally hurt her younger sister with the ice powers she had since birth. A quick visit to the trolls fixed everything and erased Anna's memories of the event, but their parents felt it was best to isolate Elsa from Anna and the world. In loneliness, Elsa grew to fear her powers and human contact, and Anna grew desperate for the affection she lost without knowing why -- especially after their parents perished in a sea travel.
This is, until the day of Elsa's coronation, when the castle's doors were again opened to the people. The sisters' reunion was going mostly well -- until Elsa refused to let Anna marry the prince she had met that very day. The resulting confrontation between them caused Elsa's powers to go haywire, bringing eternal winter to Arendelle and leading her to flee the kingdom and live in a far-off mountain. Feeling guilty, Anna decided to go after her sister to try and fix things.

(Elsa feels a lot of pain over having to abandon Anna; she knows what her actions make her look like, and probably overestimates Anna's resentment. Still, she continues isolating herself, for her sister's sake.)
