Happy Friday!
This weekend, Chicago has Lollapalooza which means (even more) traffic, boys in tight pants and lots and lots of tourists. I went a few years ago, when LCD Sound System and Daft Punk played and Spoon were all there and it was a lot of fun, but it's pretty pricey to go. I think a weekend pass is about $230 bucks. The year I went, I was one of the lucky ones to get an early-bird $60 pass.
Now I just can't bring myself to actually pay the full price of admission.
I'm going to stay in this weekend, try and beat the traffic with an early morning run to Home Depot/Target/Jo-ann Fabrics, which are all in the same *very* inconvenient location.
The goal is to get the curtains up, plus various other shelves that need to find a home. Hopefully, I'll be able to borrow a friends camera and take some pictures.
So, those are my goals for Saturday and Sunday. :)
