I know! I had this whole scenario planned where Simon worried about Mal's wound and Mal held him afterwards and reassured him that what had happened that day wasn't his fault, but then that last line got written and it seemed like the perfect place to end it. *shrugs*

More? You want more? Well, let's see... Simon frets about Mal popping the stitches in his wound. Mal promises not to use that arm. Simon has a mind-blowing orgasm then returns the favor. They finish showering then Mal hauls Simon off to his bunk where they repeat the process (sans shower) after Mal tells Simon that those men were trigger-happy hundans who would have shot Jayne and him anyway. Then they fall asleep wrapped up in each others arms.
