So I was a little bad today, I went out shopping... and spent more then I probably should have but I do have an excuse! My roomies have owed me a lot of money in the past and I recently(finally)got paid back, not going to say exactly how much but it was a lot of money. So I hit the mall today looking for some cosplay items, good news I found the shoes I need, however that's the only thing I bought that was for cosplay. I also bought new mascara, two new shirts, and something to clean the new shoes with... not as bad as I could have done and that's splurging for me. I didn't even buy any food, just a drink from starbucks. =D

Apart from one single white jacket (which I may have to make) my cosplay shopping is done. I'll have to tally up the final costs later, I'm sure my non-cosplaying friends and parents will be horrified. That being said I did get my last calender as well, I forgot about it for a second their, it's a prairie calender which might be a bad thing, it will make me want to move even more!

Oh dear, I haven't ranted about my wanting to move on here have I? Well my dream is to move to Saskatchewan, and I know what your going to ask; why? Here's where I look like an opinionated bitch but I want you to keep in mind this is my personal opinion and how I see things, it is not necessarily true it's just how I feel. I live in Ottawa, the capital of Canada and I find to me it doesn't have the freedom I would expect to see in Canada, to me, if our parliament wasn't right beside Quebec we wouldn't be going through such a struggle with the french peoples of our country, Ontario, and Ottawa especially put up with the gist of the crap from Quebec, and we try to appease them, which is all fine and good but we don't get have a back bone against them because they're constantly whining, sorry if that sounds rude but really the parliament has become Quebec's bitch in order to appease them and stop them from complaining/wanting to separate, which sucks. On top of that even though Ottawa is the capitol of Canada, it has so many American businesses and so much American attitude. I know that's hypocritical considering I'm obsessed with starbucks, but I would give it up if it meant making this city feel more Canadian. However with Ontario being so connected to the states it almost seems like we're trying to be them. So in short, weather anyone agrees with me or not, Ontario, to me is Quebec's bitch and America's biggest fan.

I want to move to Saskatchewan because I feel it's more free (I have my eyes set on somewhere near Wroxton) the land is flatter and it's a little colder, I like the cold, the speed limits are higher =D. the taxes are lower, and I don't have to bilingual to get a job in a province who's first language is English. Something about the prairies seems almost romantic to me and I like the idea of starting over in a land that is more truly Canadian in my opinion. I've had horrible fights over weather Ontario is Canadian or not and the truth is; it is Canadian, but not in the way I want it to be, and that comes from my ignorance about the french and my dislike for America, I know. Once again this is my opinion and not the truth.

However I would love to hear what you guys think, what do you think of when you think of Canada? (Even if your not from Canada)
