Chase paused in her steps at the familiar voice, freezing and tucking the ID badge into her pocket. "I'm not afraid of House," she answered back simply. Well, that wasn't true. "And I'm not an intern."
Chase just arched an eyebrow. "I'm not new," she said simply, voice terse. "I'm here for work, Foreman," she muttered, heading to the nurse's station to pick up the latest tests ordered for their patients.
Wilson was feeling pretty good, knowing that people could touch him again weithout sending him into a malestorm of emotion and unwanted imagery. He might have been whistling just slightly, and maybe looking for House so he could yell his name across a hallway.
Instead he saw a rather attractive woman, wearing a lab coat. Her demeanor communicated that she belonged, though Wilson had never seen her before. He altered his path, intending to introduce himself.
Chase was barely glancing up, keeping her gaze focused on the charts and chewing on the end of a pen while she did, swaying slightly and thinking deeply.
There was something oddly familiar about the way she chewed on the end of her pencil, but Wilson wasn't thinking too much about that. Chase chewed on his pencils, he thought idly, which just reinforced not thinking too much on that habit.
"Hey." He said casually. "New here? I could show you around." He knew it was lame, but sometimes it worked.
Chase stared up at the voice and found herself staring at Wilson, caught frozen for a moment, not knowing what to say. "Dr. Wilson," she squeaked slightly. "No, I'm not new."

Foreman gave the girl a warm smile and indicated the direction.
"You don't want to be up here when House gets back."
