House had made Chase order another set of chest x-rays. The infiltrates had started clearing up, and his breathing was much clearer. The difficulty was mainly because of the drugs, at least in House's mind. So he got the nurse to get his discharge papers in order and Chase to prescribe fluconazole for at home. "Yeah. Chase isn't happy about it, but the histo's clearing up and amphotericin's going to start doing serious damage if I stay on it." House signed where she indicated.

"I drove it a couple times," he said, "but I thought it'd be easier for you to get into my car. More room," he said, taking House's bag from him.

Foreman took the prescription and handed House the keys. "Head out to the car and I'll get this filled, okay?"

House nodded and headed out to the car. When he got there, he was glad Foreman wasn't around to see that he had to catch his breath once he'd slid into the passenger seat.

Foreman got the prescription and headed out to the car, sliding into the driver's seat. He reached over and squeezed House's knee.

"You're going to bed as soon as we get home, okay?"

Resting had to include some sort of touching, at least kissing, or House might as well have never left.

When they got back to the apartment, House let Foreman get his bag. He stopped in the kitchen for a glass of water, but then headed into the bedroom. Once he'd stripped down to his boxers, he stretched out on the bed.

Foreman arched a brow. "You don't waste any time," he said, untucking his shirt and starting to work on the buttons.

Foreman noticed him watching and turned around, slowly shrugging the shirt from his shoulders. His hands went to his belt, undoing it and sliding it through the loops.

And he was getting a show out of it, too? Apparently, being sick had its advantages. House grinned slowly, propping himself up to watch.
