Edward was one of the few people allowed in to see Cassie since she'd been moved to a new room and while he'd had to practically throw out the intern (Dr. Stevens, he thought), he did manage to get some alone time with Cassie.

"How are you feeling, Cass?" he asked, slipping bonelessly into the chair near her bedside. "Lonely?"
