"Morning, House," Foreman said as he put two cups of coffee down on the conference table and hung up his jacket before pulling on his labcoat.

"Brought you a coffee," he said, handing him the cup.

House took the cup, but looked at it askance, then at Foreman, clearly communicating, 'What'd you do and why are you sucking up for it?'

"I'm just being nice, House. Don't worry, I haven't put hemlock in it."

Foreman sat down, legs crossed and elbow on House's desk.

"And if I wanted anything, I'd offer better than coffee."

House just raised an eyebrow as he sipped the coffee. Better than what they had in the conference room. And look at that--Foreman was telling the truth about offering better than the coffee.

"Speaking of better, what are the plans for dinner? Beyond tomorrow."

"Hey," she greeted, coming into his office, "got a minute?" Well, several, but she'd start with the singular.

"That depends on if you mean an actual minute or as long as you want to talk." He didn't bother looking up from his game.

"It's a hospital. What's going on around here is sick people." Teach her to be non-specific.

Chase wandered into the room with a settled smile on his face. "Hawkeye's papers are officially signed over to the psychiatrist, the minute you sign, he's no longer technically our patient," he announced, pleased.

House glanced up, but didn't hold out his hand--that'd mean taking his hand off the controls.

"Leave em here. I'll sign once I'm done."

Chase wandered inside and placed them down, peering at the video game. "Monday," he commented. "You tasting lies again?"

House thought back to his earlier discussion with Foreman and the interesting taste change that had happened there. "You could say that."
