As our world becomes faster pace I believe that the art of gratitude has become lost. I remember as a child, one of my grade school teachers stressed the importance of not only saying thank you when someone does the smallest thing for you (such as holding open a door or giving you a piece of their candy bar), but she also stressed the importance ( Read more... )

all of those wonderful drawn cats and the club that you and Shawn formed with several others. Mail would come with all those hand drawn beautiful pictures. You have always been such a good friend to all. We are very grateful that you are in our family. love you

I use to love getting mail.. Even after we moved from Murphysboro and I would send a message to Mrs. Hallsey's class and receive back a letter stuffed w/letters and drawing from them. That was extreamly exciting. :) BTW, received a message from Mrs. Hallsey the other day, she appears to be doing great.
