Cough, hack, hack, cough...
I have been brought down by an unknown virus. Basically got it just in time to screw up my weekend. Realistically i shouldnt have went to work friday cause i felt so bad thursday night, but when i woke up in the morning i felt fine. That only lasted a few hours and soon i was short of breath getting dizzy and had no energy at all. Which seemed really wierd since the last 2 days i went home and went straight to bed and only woke up in time to head back to work in the mornin.
They wanted me to work on Saturday but i had to decline as i was finding i had top keep stopping for a breather and was hard not to pass right out. After work my parents seen that i had cut my finger and had it all taped up ( i did it on thurs but never seen them since i went right to bed). They said i should go to the hospital and get it stitched and get some tests done to find out why im sick.
I agreed once i got called into the exam room at the er they started asking about my finger. I told them i did it after work cause i didnt want to fill out a work comp report. It looked pretty gross at this time cause my tape job left it largely open in spots. The doc told me he couldnt stitch it cause it was open for more than 24hrs. If you cut yourself get to a doc quick cause they are pretty rough cleaning it out after to teach you a lesson.
They took some blood samples a urine sample and my temp asked me about my ailments I tried to be descriptive but the doc didnt have a very good bedside manner, which made it tough. I Had a fever of 102F or 39C they asked how long id known haha that was the first i knew when they told me, makes sence now why i wanted to fall down on the job. Oh there test results didnt show anything unsual in my blood so they figure its some sort of virus.
Ive been spending my time resting and drinking lots of fluids like a good patient but i dont seem to be recovering very well.
