I have just retired from a seven-solid-hour stint of sitar making in the garage. GAAAAAAAH I HATE CHICKEN WIRE NEVER EVER AGAIN D:
So, I began with drawing a pattern on an assemblage of taped together newspapers, and making sure it fit on my roll of chicken wire.
Note the yard stick. THIS FUCKER IS SEVEN FEET LONG.
Cutting out the chicken wire was NOT VERY FUN.
After I treated my war wounds, I laid this monstrosity out on some foam board to make the front end.
Enter the hot pink duct tape. I couldn't find the silver stuff, and this was on the work bench, so I'm like 'Okay :D'. I also braced it with a piece of scrap trim from when we redid my room about four years ago because my family never throws anything away.
And what I have so far, because it was getting dark and the legions of orb spiders that inhabit my property were emerging from whatever depths in which they dwell.
Black lines are where things need trimming because SYMMETRY, DAMMIT >O.
Also, finally got the scythe and chakrams fixed, like I've been meaning to do for... about two weeks? Yeah.
