Oberlin was phenominal
Beautiful campus, beautiful dorms/houses, beautiful people.
The conservatory was incredible, but I know I'm not JOINING it, I'll still take classes there of course.
Every single person there was either KevCole or Perber, it was insane. Everyone looked like someone who I'm already friends with.
The courses offered are just out of this world, I sat in on a class called "Philosophy and Morality". The professor was like NOTHING I've ever experienced before, what vibrance! so outspoken and articulate. And I know that's what EVERY professor is like there. Just whack-job liberals teaching other whack-job liberals in a multi-racial, multi-national, multi-fasceted atmosphere that makes me yearn to go there above all else.
Being on that campus it really hit me for the first time that I'm going to be living my life! and I must say that being on that soil made me feel alright about it. Normally I'm anxious, and slightly afraid of living on my own, but I felt so comfortable there, it was like heaven on earth. No lie.
If you want to know more about my adventures there I'll be glad to sit you down and talk at you for three hours about it.
I can't remember every feeling more welcomed, more comfortable and at home in any one place.
and really... the guys there were just... oh my.
Oh and Laura, the bassist from the Shins IS hot
