When I realized my mom wasn't going to make it, i broke down (as can be expected). i knew it'd be hard (it is) and that she was my very best friend and i would miss her more than anything (and i do) but what i didn't know was how close it would bring me to God. Yeah, i haven't been to very much church in the past 4 months (i can count the number of times on two hands, barely using the second hand) but i can NOT remember a time where i've spent so much time in prayer and reading the bible. Never have i been so excited when i find verses that touch me, never have i felt like God is my best friend until now. Sometimes i miss my mom so much is crippling, but now i know that i have a God to light up and pull me through the darkest nights. Thank God for God :).
