“You received a letter today.”
“That I did.”
“Your post usually doesn’t arrive in the morning.”
“Never could cage your curiosity?”
“That is one way of stating it.”
“Minerva,” Xiomara Hooch put down her water and continued, “it is rumored he did it, I don’t believe it.”
“You aren’t afraid of being brought in for questioning about his whereabouts?”
“I don’t know where he is, I wish I did, so I could help Severus.”
“Xiomara, you surprise me with your heart.”
