Well, we had a day off today (for some random Faculty Development Day). So, me and some friends went downtown for the day. All the major museums are free on Tuesdays so we decided to take advantage of them. It was great fun. Highlights included...
-Taking the Metra downtown.
-Trekking across the city to the museums.
-Shedd Aquarium - the statue of a man and his fish.
-The Field Museum - "Sue" and the infamous man-eaters of Tsavo.
-Adler Planetarium - absolutely nothing of interest except for a sweet game that requires you to put six planets in orbit.
It was a good time.
