Luna's (Not So) Lunes Linkies - Round 39

A couple quick things before I start: first, next week is Halloween week. That means that on Wednesday, I'll be doing a Halloween-themed linkies, with a mess of my creepy weird or Halloween appropriate links.

That brings me to my second point: since Halloween falls on a Friday, I'll also be doing a bonus linkies that day. Be prepared, for on October 31st, I shall have BATMAN FRIDAY. Yep. I've somehow amassed a ton of Batman themed links... in fact, I have more links for Batman Friday than I do for the Halloween themed linkies (like... three times as many). I know yer jazzed. So hopefully you guys will enjoy that one quite a bit.

Now that that's out of the way...

I can't believe I didn't put this up sooner. I collected it shortly after the phenomena happened, and then forgot about it. Regardless, here's a heads-up to you folks about the newest meme that's hit the internet... from Japan. "Anata to wa chigau n desu," or, "I am different from you," were words uttered by Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda before his resignation. This had Japanese fanboys rolling apparently, blasting Fukada into Chuck Norris-esque status. Click the link to see the results.

This is actually one of very few links I have found totally on my lonesome. I was trying to look up information about Criss Angel's Cirque de Soleli show, and then came across "CRISS ANGEL IS THE ANTICHRIST!!1one!" website. I... fer the love of chocolate. And yeah, I think the site is trying to be genuine. ._.

I am... easily amused. Fart scares baby had me LOLing.

London apparently has some bad ass gangs there... check out some of these names: Tooti Nungs, Born Sick Gang, Sea & Mother Square Boys, Bad Boys, and Don't Touch Us. There's actually... dozens of them. Most of which seem fairly... weak? I dunno. I wouldn't want to get jumped by ANY number of rowdy boys in a dark London alleyway at night, but at least don't go all Sentai on me and say, "WE ARE... THE HOLLY STREET BOYS!" ...It doesn't quite strike fear into my heart of hearts.

China has apparently blocked ALL access to the iTunes store... over one album. Way to throw a tantrum, China.

Oh snap! I didn't mean to put up more Japan stuff but here we are: "Japan's We Are The World is a pretty good and hilarious parody of the 1985 benefit song. I also love how in the lower corner, they have the ORIGINAL video playing at the same time. (If you're curious, the Cindy Lauper is my favorite.)

A bit late on my part, but I didn't find out about this until last week: apparently the LHC had a "black hole" button on it. xD

...Any story that worth telling that starts with, "The other night my friend had some pot and wanted me to smoke it with him, but we had nowhere to smoke it because both our parents were home," is probably going to end interestingly. And this one's hilarious.
