(no subject)
well i haven't updated in a while, mainly because i haven't exactly done anything that exciting, but i'm bored so i'll make one anyway. week before last i got a new cousin (yay!), and he's super cute :) i've also babysat my other almost 2 year old cousin a few times, who's also super adorable. besides that i've just been working and hanging out with my friends. most of them are either out of town or working and our schedules don't coincide, but we've managed. and last week i went to dinner with bethany!! it was nice for us to be able to catch up on all our missed roomie gossip time--you can only say so much over lj and emails. it's just too bad we were sitting across the table from each other instead of sitting across from each other in our dorm room. or sitting on the futon. then playing don't phunk with my heart. and dancing around the room.
we moved my brother down to houston 2 weeks ago to move into his own apartment and start his real job. i'm going to really hate having to go out in the real world--no more summer vacations. i'm kinda jealous because he's know officially out on his own, but at the same time i don't know how i'll ever be able to live by myself. i'm not even responsible enough to drive a motorbike without crashing it--how am i supposed to take care of my own apartment, and eventually house?? oh well, i'll just enjoy living at home with my mommy cooking for me while i can. last week she and my sister went to california for the week, and my dad was working every day, so i actually cooked dinner for us. i burned the french bread a couple times, but no major mishaps or anything, surprisingly.
let's seeeeee--oh yeah, i've now been asked out by TWO different guys at work. both of whom are complete freaks who won't leave me alone. i had to sneak out of work the other night when i got cut so one guy wouldn't follow me out to my car. i think friday's has a thing for hiring the wierdest guys possible so that i can't ever meet a normal one. and it doesn't help that i'm working every single night this week, so i'm bound to run into them multiple times. only 6 more weeks and then it's goodbye friday's forever...
if anything good happens in my life i'll be sure to let yall know. until then, my schedule is full of work, friends, shopping, and tanning. (last week i FINALLY stopped peeling from my hideous burn from thailand. unfortunately, my nice dark tan i had has completely peeled from my body so i have to start all over again. boo.)
