Time Wasting
So I get home, and we decide to order food. I don't think I can get into the work quite yet, so instead I muck about in SL. About 45 minutes of mucking about with C++ only to have the intern tell me what the problem is, and I have a console tool that will give me the bandwidth usage per interface.
Fifteen minutes in world, and I have an object that grows/shrinks depending on said bandwidth. Net result - there is a strange creation in my metaverse office that shows with a five second delay how much bandwidth is being used by the eghetto. I need to tweak it a bit - currently it maxes out at 1mbit whereas our internet connection is 10mbit, and we seem to max out at about 6mbit.
