So St. Valentine's Day has come and gone. Also, oddly enough, it was "Propose to a Random Girl Day" on the 14th of February, 2006. So, naturally I proposed to two ladies...at the same time. I'm just that pimp. So, here's how it went down. Our dorm was able to get a hold of several cheap little rings that look quai-real, so I could actually give a ring to them. (The rings cost me 50 cents each, so it was not a major economic loss for me) Anyway...before IDS class, I spoke to the two in question and told them I had something VERY important to tell them after class and they looked a little concerned. Perfect. After class they met me in the lobby of Restoration Hall and I had them sit down on the little couch there and explained how I had been having doubts in my faith recently and was unsure if I should even be at LCC. I went on to say that I had been talking to a Mormon friend back home and how he had been answering some of my questions. They are horrifed when I said that. I then proceded to ask both of them to marry me...at the same time. One thought it was absolutely hilarious and wore the ring all day, even when we went out to eat that night. (She has a boyfriend even...and she told him that I was engaged to her) The other...was upset that I had decieved her and gave me a nice kick on the knee. Later that night, myself, my two 'fiancees', and a few others drove out to the Bloomington Olive Garden and had a fine meal. Especially the Zuppa Tuscana (Did I spell that right?) soup. Mmmm...good. So all in all..good times. Good times.
