What in the world are power gamers and griefers? I mean, I can make an assumption, and that assumption is that it's not good, but I just want to make sure...
A powergamer is someone who, instead of playing a role in a game which is interesting to all participants prefers to play a character wielding as much personal power and influence as possible. Often their attempts to maximise their power will be at the expense of the character's plausibility and will attempt to exploit loopholes in the game rules.
A griefer is a particularly unpleasant kind of player who derives enjoyment from doing bad things to other characters. And by this I don't mean that they set up great tragic dramas worthy of the Bard. More typical behaviour is to kill other characters for no good reason, steal their possessions and so on. Griefers are typically also powergamers since their mischief is easier to enact if their character is stronger than everyone else's.
Sadly I'm a big enough dork to know what the former meant but the later was new to me. A stealth-griefer sounds like some monster out of a Dungeons & Dragons manual.
As for identifying the CR offenders, I leave that to others. I don't actually have any clue. (Tho I may be able to hazard a guess on one or two of them).
Hopefully none of my characters personally come under the spotlight. Although I'm hugely warming to the notion of being a stealth-griefer just because it does sound so grim.
I still suspect some characters as being mine even when I'm sure they're not. Like I'm getting up in the middle of the night and writing them whilst sleeping.
You do feel strangely sleepy sometimes, don't you? So sleepy . . . So very sleepy . . . Very, very sleepy . . . You will now go to Word. Open the file "oldresume.doc". The one with the steamy scene between Mei Chen and Lydia LaVie. Log in as lydia_lavie with the password "mysterio". Copy and paste the document, post it, and log out. After you have cleared your browser history, you will remember none of this.
