Oh gawd, are we going to go through all this again? First there was all the kerfuffle over Ruud going to Hamburg - now Espanyol want him back in Spain.
Edwin van der Sar has said in an interview that he won't be going to South Africa even as a spectator (AKA: *gapes* "Why you unpatriotric bastard!"), instead choosing to spend his summer holiday at home with his family. In that vein, there's no official news, but it seems confirmed that Annemarie van Kesteren has made a speedy and complete recovery from her stroke at Christmas. Congratulations to the whole family are in order!
Sylvie van der Vaart, meanwhile, has made it to the penultimate episode of Germany's answer to Celebrity Dance-Off, and is currently in second place. I still love her new look overall, but her tan is starting to scare me.
And just because they're both adorable, Robin brought his son Shaqueel with him on Arsenal's lap of honour. (GIF credit goes to the lovely dreamfight3r!)
