Back Again Y'all...
Well folks it has been a while. Like a serious while…haha. Did you miss me? The main reason for my small disappearance from LJ is simple…school took up to much damn time. I found myself way busier than I ever planned. Was it fun? Ummm in simplest terms…no, this is probably the worst semester I’ve had so far. It was just so much fun to find that my gen-eds required more time and effort out of me than my own major. But enough with the ranting it’s done right! School is done for the semester and I am grateful! How did u guys do, did u have a better semester? Are you liking college newcomers? If so I don’t want you to think I am demeaning your liking college in any way, this college thing just works different for everyone. How did the finals go? I whooped my hardest one, my media arts one was horribly written, the theatre appreciation was easy, and the nats was well let’s just say it is an addition to this semester’s ridiculousness. *Siggggghhhhh* but for all the crappy things that happened there were some very good ones too. Last day of school I finally finished my first film ahhhhhh sooo liberating haha. Cindy came over and we finished voiceovers with some assistance from Pat and I took the next few hours to touch up and place it on its first DVD’s. Nick and I were gonna practically cry, it took us 6 months to finish, thanks to school, but hey it took Peter Jackson 8 months to do King Kong so I guess that made us feel a little better…maybe…not really haha. So I’m getting ready for the second one which is a comedy yay!!!
Ummm speaking of the Kong, flipping amazing!!! One of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had in a theatre in a while. I literally sat through most of the it, mouth a gaped, lost in the storytelling. Soooo good. On top of that other good films I saw this semester “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” which I saw again with Chris, Alex, and the bros yesterday. “The Chronicles of Narnia” which wasn’t bad, Aslan was some badass lion. Some midnight movies that included “Evil Dead II” and “The Lost Boys. And also some Sunday night Nick and I movies such as “A Fish Called Wanda and “Unleashed”. UATV went well for my first semester in it, there were of course some complications but both the crew and I were pleased and hope to accomplish even more for the next semester. I starred in a project for my friends Media Productions class and it turned out awesome, she did a great job and people liked my performance haha. Hells yeah! I also got to see my first UA Dance Recital which soooo cool! My friend from the dorm performed and choreographed his own piece which was incredible. I also joined in with my fellow 4 Mo crew to go Ninja raiding throughout the whole dorm, that shit was soooo tight hahaha!!! I’ve also gotten the chance to meet a bunch more people at the dorms which has been really great. So in all, while there were many things that made this semester tougher than it should have been, I’m hoping the next will be better ! I hope you guys have a great break and hopefully I’ll be able to drop more posts like I use too. That’s a lot of hopes haha. Have a good night and happy holidays, its nice being back hah.
