Man. I can't believe some of the things I've seen. Decadence juxtaposed with absolute poverty. It's ridiculous. A homeless woman on Michigan Ave, in front of Bloomingdale's, holding her sleeping son and a cup in her hand. That look... It's defeat. What do you do? You can't help everyone. How do you choose? So many homeless... Maybe I'll get used to it. I don't think I want to get used to it.
I'm glad I'm living here. There's so much more life in Chicago than in Arizona. It's been two weeks, but I've already seen and experienced so many things. If you ever get a chance, move to a big city. It's incredible.
