Yesterday is over
The weekend was great, mostly.
When I said in a post last week it was gonna be a roller-coaster I hadn't realised how literal that would prove to be.
Friday was Trash Alley, which ruled, though it wasn't Claire's thing, so off we tootled to the punks party at Jobbers which also ruled. I got semi eaten alive, which was surprising but very nice and saw the rare flowering punk fruit tree in Hyde park.
Saturday after leaving the punks around 10, became one unmitigated disaster after another, leaving me the most miserable and dejected man alive. A big Thankyou to Claire and Jobbers and Smiggy for getting me to Wendy house inspite of my own wishes.
After spending till about midnight panicking about what was gonna turn to shit next, surprisingly nothing did, so I began to relax and all went well. Claire looked stunning as a cute bat and no one seemed to be abe to figure out that I was supposed to be a little devil.
The after party, with apple bobbing and candy, was also one of the best I've thrown in a while. Everyone played nice and the assholes were absent. If Raz and Jools keep being so thoughtful and considerate of me though I'll need to start crediting them as co-hosts and paying them a gratitude fee, thankyou guys your ace.
I even made larp, ran a flawless and complex session and with luck firmly on my side got to Niki and Gaz's Sunday night.
Yesterday was a right off for the most part, excepting Claire's message of cheeriness, but may have had something salvaged right at the end. We'll see.
Today is happier, regardless.
Gonna skive work tomorrow, as my house is prolly still covered in beer and party popper string, and some officious assholes need shouting at.
