(no subject)
So yeah.... it took me a little longer than I thought it would to get an update out. Big Deal. So here it is:
Christmas:
I had to work at Linens 'n Things on Christmas Eve day and was supposed to get off at about 430 pm at which point I was going to drive out to Vanessa's parents house to celebrate Christmas with all of them. Luckily one of the managers talk the store manager into letting me leave at 200 so I wouldnt hit the worst of the traffic. Christmas Eve was great, we all had a good big dinner and I went with nessa and her family to the candle ceremony thing at their church which was pretty cool cause they sang all of those christmas songs that you never really realized were religious because you never knew the words. On christmas i ended up getting a pretty good haul from nessa and her family. From Vanessa I got my new watch from Fossil that I had picked out a few weeks ago, I got the Trivial Pursuit 90s edition, and I also got a kick ass set of 5.1 surround sound speakers for my computer. From her parents I ended up getting a new sweater (its all sorts of warm and cozy), a cool bath robe (which i wear most of the time), a car duster (so i wont steal theirs anymore), a card game, a simpsons wall callendar, some simpsons pajama shorts, and a stocking full of stuff.
New Years:
For New Years all we ended up doing was having a very tasty homemade Chinese food dinner with some of my favorite co-workers from Linens 'n things. There was supposed to be more people there but some people got all sorts of wierd and decided not to come (in the process scaring off some other people) and some just flaked out.... oh well. After dinner my co-workes had to go so they could housesit for someone so me and nessa relaxed and watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind while the cold i had been developing progressively got worse. Then before midnight we switched over to watching the ball drop and stuff then just relaxed for a little while longer before we went to sleep.
Plans for the Future
As it stands the only plans for the future that i have is to go down south and visit my parents (and have my 2nd and 3rd chirstmas) on the weekend of the 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th. As it stands im pretty sure im getting a frys gift certificate and hopfully the World of Warcraft Collectors Edition. Thats about it for now, hopefully soon ill have some more to report on.....
