Guide to playing a Stan.

Taking a page out of Ami-mun's book and making a helpful list of commandments to deter me from straying from the path of the Stan.

1. Stan is the purely evil, Evil King Stanley Hihat Trinidad XIV, and the name says it all. Understanding of this commandment includes understanding of all following commandments.

2. Stan is superior to everybody.
---In ever way. Looks, smarts, etc.
---Despite however many times he may be defeated or proven wrong. These are flukes due to the miserable circumstances of camp and should not be looked at and/or considered in anything close to a serious manner.
---As such, whatever he does is perfect and if you don't see it that way at first it's easily explained. Example: His reasoning to use the Magic Square in the sewer.

3. Stan does not give a damn about low level peasants [read: everybody].
---If he does something that could be misinterpreted as considerate it is simply because he needs you alive to use you later, or he wants to prove something. Example: Telling Ari to get some rest to prove that he's a better Master than Marlene.
------Alternatively it is because he has rights to picking on you and other people aren't allowed to infringe on said rights.

4. Stan does not take to heart the actions of low level peasants [read: everybody].
---Anything anybody else says can and will be ignored because it is wrong and useless.
---Anything anybody else does, up to and including getting the best of Stan either verbally or physically, will not be taken into consideration any further than labeling you as a minor irritant. Reasoning: see commandment 2.

5. Stan is in fact capable of looking before he leaps, thinking things through, making plans, and being deceitful.
---Example: Having Ari gather info in Madril before making any moves.
---Example: Planning to brainwash Marlene and managing to keep it secret until the actual attempt.

6. However, Stan is also easily distracted into acting rashly and doing/saying things without thinking.
---The best way to do this is to either stroke his ego or attack it.
---Example: Admitting to Rosalyn that his weakness is lack of light. (Admittedly in a roundabout way.)

7. Calling him a fake evil being is an Ultimate Mega Offense and will be punished accordingly.

8. Stan is, in fact, evil.
---Example: Willingness to kill children in Madril.
------Note that he does not pick on children and/or weaklings, but if they get in his way he will not hesitate to obliterate them.
------Actually it's not just children; he rarely uses powers unless the opponent attacks him first or accepts responsibility for the potential outcome of Stan kicking their ass.

9. If Stan wants something, he takes it.
---Example: He says as much to Linda.
---Example: Everything he does is with the purpose of regaining his powers; this is his goal and he does not dillydally about it, he goes forth and accomplishes it.

10. Stan is the purely evil, Evil King Stanley Hihat Trinidad XIV, and the name says it all.
