I felt so depressed and miserable yesterday and with a near-spontaneous burst of self-confidence I decided to just do it. I decided to say who cares what I look like, what people think of me, I have a boyfriend who I love, who am I trying to impress? I love music, I want to go out, I'm going to just go for it. I brought a little notebook for something to do while I was waiting around inbetween bands, and it shielded me from people's criticism and peaked people's interest.
I met people, saw an amazing band, and just had a fantastic time.
This is such a major step for me. Girls don't go out alone. We tend to travel in packs. But I did it! Yippee!!
