Looking for site options

I want to put together a proposal for another KWLT Fundraising dinner for the board.

As many of you know, the Castle on King, where we had the first one, has closed.

Any recommendations, "ins", or other ideas of where and/or who I can approach about finding a new space for this?

I know kitchener-waterloo would be preferable, but Robin in the Hood used the Black Forest Inn in Conestogo for a fundraising feast

My work used there for an XMas party and it was pretty good.

i've heard good recommendations from the new St George's Hall (i think that's what it's called) facilities in north waterloo on King Street (before king crosses 85 and passes the farmers' market en rout to St Jacobs).

dunno anything about them and have never been inside to see the place, but people i know who've looked seemed uniformly impressed with the joint.

was just there for a conference. The food was good, desserts were spectacular. Service was a little iffy. Not sure what was done in house and what wasn't.
