Today I've been woken up 4 times by telemarketers, once by a door to door service and once by JWs.
Each time, when they've asked "how are you" (cause evidently, they can't tell from my voice!), I've said, "I have the flu and you woke me up."
And to my utter astonishment, they've continued to make their pitch.
For the love of little green men from Mars, people! "I am ill. You interferred with my rest" What is your fucking problem?
More reasonable response? "I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps we can try talking another time when you're feeling better. Sorry for the interruption."
I'd be a hell of a lot less likely to take someone's head off right now if that was the case.
