Yeah, well... not everything is 100% detectable with an ECG. It's more of a -- 'we can catch a lot of stuff we couldn't otherwise with this' procedure than a clean bill of health thing.

And yeah, that sucks.

Doesn't change the fact that faced with a man who's smoked since he was 17 that they might have looked a little harder.

As the husband of someone with known (of) but still fairly much undiagnosed heart problems, it's really the cast that it's hard to tell anything from the outside without a LOT of work. If everything's looking ok from the basic tests, I wouldn't worry /too/ much.
