Things that baffle me
Listening to CBC Radio this morning.
They were talking about the first set of refugees/evacuees out of Beirut to Cypress. Apparently there was much bitching & moaning because a) the ferry ride was longer than anticipated, b) there was no food or water (okay, I can see that one, at least on the water side of things), c) there were no beds, and d) there were 250 on the ferry, when it was originally set up for 100.
Um...
They took you, on emergency notice, for free out of a WAR ZONE.
Gee. And it wasn't a cruise ship.
Sorry, pumpkin, but you're not getting much sympathy from me.
