I want to dive into your ocean...
Tonight was the first night I allowed myself to get sucked into some fandom stuff. I haven't really been keeping up with it lately, simply because 1) I didn't have lots of access to the internet in Russia, 2) when I was finally home I wanted to spend the time with family instead of on the computer, 3) when I wasn't spending time with family I was crashing, and 4) being back at school I've just tried to get back to school... not fandom.
But tonight I allowed myself to browse and almost get lost in fandom again, and it was cool. I've missed my Inuyasha and Princess Tutu.
But... now I have work to catch up on (I've been proud of myself, though... I've been keeping pretty much on track with work so far). Meetings seem to be my life now, but that might remedy itself soon (I'm hoping).
Tomorrow's a 9am meeting for TAing, then 11:30 I'm meeting with my advisor to get my senior year on track and see if I really really want to do departmental honors (and if I can combine it with another project), then 12:45 is meeting to get materials together for a presentation next week, class at 3, then a layout session for Serenity at 4:15... so a busy day.
Tonight I have a few things left to do, so we'll see how this goes. I also forgot about the slideshow I was supposed to put together for Dr. Holt about Russia... oops. I told him I'd get it done by the weekend... but obviously that ain't happening. So maybe that'll be this weekends activity.
Okay, I'm off to work... then Inuyasha is tugging at my heartstrings so I might just have to watch some as I drift off to dreamland ;o)
