Is It Bad That...
Is it bad that I just want people to go home? Here's the deal... this week's been wild and crazy, and people have just worn out their welcome. I've never been a huge people person, I'll tell you that right now (in case you didn't already know), and while I do like people, it's usually only the select few that I call my friends and family (I prefer a small group, not biiiiggg groups, to narrow it down even more).
And so this week, with hundreds of people being around alll the time I'm ready to just slap a few of them just to get them to leave. And it's the weekend here, which means everyone goes home... but they aren't gone yet!!! It's after 4pm, so leave! Hasn't your bus already departed? Or are you walking home?! I just want them gone.
So is it bad that while everyone else is like "Oh my gosh! During the weekend it's so quiet! No one's in my flat, and I hate it!" while I just give them blank stares and think to myself "What? Do you just not like yourself? Do you hate being in your own company that much?"
Whatever, I know everyone's different, but don't make it seem like liking (okay, LOVING) being by yourself is a bad thing. Sure, if my friends from home were here I'd prob. never want them to leave, but that different (they're different) so it's all okay. Here? Just get the hell away from me, thank you very much.
Oh, on a second note... What the hell is it with younger guys? I live with first years, so I know I'm bound to be seeing younger guys all the time, but in classes and out on the town?! I'm freakin' older-guy deprived. One of my friends from home would love it here (hehehe) but I'm just sick and tired of these guys that are just outta diapers... am I being too dramatic here? Whatevs... I can do whatever I want, it's my journal haha :oP They haven't gotten past their trying to freak people out with moaning in the hallway stage, and while they are really nice to talk to... I need some older guys here to just give me something good to look at, and give me just a lil bit of hope... :oP
Whatever. It's the weekend, so I'm super excited about that, and if anyone wakes me up tomorrow morning before i'm ready to wake up, if they are missing a hand or an ear or something afterwards, I cannot be held responsible. And yes, that's your official warning...
