I agree. I think he has a style that appeals to some people and not others (kind of like Jeff Lindsay who writes the Dexter books--I like his writing style, but sometimes his stories can be far too grotesque). I think the next of Palahniuk's books I was going to read was 'Invisible Monsters' which I started reading when I was in Louisiana the last time (but the book belongs to my friend Dee so I left it ;)) Lies is good! Read Gone first though ;)
I do feel like a bad fan for not watching but at the same time it's kind of like when I stopped watching in S5 after 'I believe the Children Are Our Future' and maybe I'll get back into it? But yes, I am looking forward to seeing Misha act as Cas, as himself playing Cas and just plain old Misha (or a caricature of himself at least). I think if there was more Cas I would feel more interested in watching it :S
