Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
First of, hello new friends! *waves* Usually I'd do some fun Supernatural, Dean/Castiel post, but seeing as it's St. Patrick's Day I'm gonna save that for a bit later (and I'm too tired at the moment to come up with anything too fun :oP). So, welcome! :oD
Second of all... SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!! Gotta love the Irish, yeah?
In order to celebrate today, I figured I'd post some pics of Ireland. I studied abroad about 2 years ago, and I kinda want to go back. Asap. If you ever get a chance to go to Ireland, go. The people are amazing there, and the country is fantastic. I've never been so in awe of any place, ever, than I was the entire time I was there. So yeah... Here's to the Irish!!
Dunluce Castle, Northern Ireland
Giant's Causeway
Cork
NUI Maynooth, where I studied
Glendalough
Glandalough - Lower Lake
Blarney Castle!
View from the top of Blarney Castle
Again, I'm too tired to remember the name... it's a tiny village near Cork
CASHEL! These pictures don't do it justice. Cashel was one of my favorite places in Ireland. And yeah, we ended up falling asleep on the rocks for a few hours after hiking and exploring a run down abbey down the hill from Cashel. Fun times :o)
just some flowers
Because I'm a dork... trying on armor in Dublin, (ignore the bad clothes... I was traveling, okay? :oP)
Oh man... tour of the Ring of Kerry. Best decision ever. So beautiful.
Sneem, in the Ring of Kerry. Cutest place with the best icecream
Lady's Pass
The Lakes at the Ring of Kerry
GALWAY! My fav city. This is the Claddagh where the rings are made. And omg, so many swans live there... it's gorgeous.
Exploring the Burren, near the cliffs of Moher.
The Cliffs of Moher. Yeah, the fog was the stuff of legends. Maybe literally. Needless to say, we heard the puffins, but couldn't see diddlysquat (puffins and cliffs included :o/)
On the way back from the Cliffs, and the Irish weather lives up to it's reputation... Fog is MIA
The beach in Galway
the end of the rainbow :o)
ARAN ISLANDS!!! omg I'd live there if I could. And this in Dun Aengus fort. I sat on the edge of these cliffs and omg, they totes made up for not seeing the Cliffs of Moher.
Okay, so I'm exhausted right now. So that's it for now! If I get a chance I might post some more later. If anyone's really interested to see more, you can go
here to my "travel journal" that I kinda failed at keeping updated while abroad. It has some Ireland, as well as some Russia stuffs.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed, and once again... Happy St. Patty's Day!!!
Now go drink some beer ;o)
