List Post: Job, Legion, 7 Deadly Sins...
1) So I checked in with work today to see if they still needed me to work for them. Walked in to say hi, etc. Long story short: I need to look for another job. Daisy (the head manager) said to come back when break was over, and I'd have a job if they were still there. But the store downstairs closed, and now it's only Jose and her working at the store (they also close down earlier now, bc business is so bad). Daisy said that they probably won't be looking for help until April or May, and when asked just said that yeah, give me a call them. Bc you never know when you'll need something.
But urgh. Yeahhh... I need to go find another job :o/
I def. need to take out another loan, though. bc I can't pay rent next month, and I can't ask my parents for help all the time bc they can't afford it.
I'm starting to wonder, now, if grad school was such a wise thing to do. Because really? I'm just digging myself into debt. And yes, grad school is a good step into finding a good job that will, ultimately make me more money to pay off these loans. But really?? Aren't I just falling into the trap that society has set up? You know... the one that says you have to work your entire life to make money so you can buy stuff, be comfortable, and be happy. When, really, is this really making me happy?
So yeah. Idk. I'm thinking. I'll have to keep plugging away, and see if I come up with any solutions to any of this.
2) On a happier note: Saw Legion today! (I didn't pay, bc I had a free ticket. yay!) I liked it. There was a scene between Michael and Gabriel that made me tear up, which was totally unexpected. But yeah... if you like the whole play with angels and biblical and apocalyptic scenarios/mytholigies, etc, then I'd recommend it.
Also, there was this great line Michael says to Gabriel, that reminded me of SPN. When Gabriel tells Michael that he shouldn't disobey their Father (who has lost faith in humanity and sends the angels to destroy them), that they should do as He says and follow His orders, because it's what he wants, Michael says in return, "So you are the son that gives your Father what he wants, instead of what he needs?" because Michael still has faith in humans. And yeah, loved that line.
3) Last thing... took a seven deadly sins quiz, and here are the results. I lolled:
