Ok, now, I'm not keeping up with the Death Note anime, (I finished the manga already) but I might just have to.
See, as I was strolling along and sampling a few AMVs, I noticed a few scenes that sent my spidey-senses a tingling. I quickly deducted those scenes to be from ep 25, and, feeling no qualms over spoiling a series I've already read, I decided to watch this little episode.
Holy. Shit. WHAT THE CRAP. I can only explain this with a bizzare little analogy my mind slowly formed while watching this.
ANIME: Oh, hey, what's up DN Manga! I'm new here!
Manga: HEY! wow, you look pretty good. In fact just like me! let's go!
(they proceed to walk, side by side for a while)
Manga: You know, you're kinda creeping me out.
Anime: Yeah, death is a little creepier in animated form, I guess.
Manga:....
Manga: Hey... Anime?
Anime: Yes, Manga?
Manga: .. Where are you going?.. hey..
Anime: Hello, EP 25!!!
Manga: ... HEY, WAIT a sec... I DON'T REMEMBER THAT!!!
Anime: Oh, don't mind me! I'll just be froliking off in the rain a bit... foot massage? sounds good!
