Why Life Lessons
I seem to have a thing for original, distinctive voices in fic. The first person, present tense Hermione narrator in this one is by turns funny, sarcastic, insightful. Oh-- and, at the beginning, very, very drunk. I feel torn not revealing the male character, because the pairing itself is a bit of a shock when you figure it out. But the author chose to keep it a mystery as well, and I have to say that despite my reservations about the ship, by the time I worked it out, I could not stop reading, the writing and themes (and okay, very hot erotic content) were so very well done. Give this one a try, and by all means leave a review.
