Why Altering Perceptions
So, I will confess that it took me a little while to get into this. It's written in the present tense (a little off-putting as it follows a timeline that jumps from Ginny being at one age to the next). However, if you just read on a little further, you'll find that the pacing of the story, which is well done, allows for the present tense quite well (although it may still not be to everyone's tastes). I thought that this exchange could use some pimping, as I've recced a few hp_yule_balls recently, and I'm hoping that it will be a really great exchange that will be a great place to start if you're just curiously dipping your toes into the femmeslash waters. I'd recommend this fic particularly to people new to femmeslash (or even just the Ginny/Luna ship) because it is delicate, PG-rated, and quite heart-warming! Give it a try, even if it's not usually 'your thing'? :)
