So I found out you can have fun in Wisconsin

I had a great little vacation. There were a few problems getting there but after I got to see my Andy I was so happy.

Wednesday: I left work and visited with the family before traveling on my way to Minneapolis from there I would have to take a flight to Madison. The flight from Seattle was delayed an hour because it was stormy in the Midwest that day. So the flight out was a little bumpy. I am not the best flyer, but there was a man who flies all the time sitting next to me so it made me feel comfortable. We flew through a lightning storm. It was so pretty. The sky would light up on every flash. The flight was a bit late getting in and I had to run to make my transfer flight. ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE AIRPORT. When I got to my next flight it was backing out and getting ready to take of down the runway WITHOUT ME. Nine people missed their flight. And that was the last one of the night. I got booked on the first flight to Madison for the morning with tears in my eyes. Then my lovely Andy called and said him and Stuart would be coming to pick me up. Madison is 5 hours aways from Minneapolis!!! So i stayed in the airport until 4am and then got really excited to see Andy. The boys were very tired so I drove home half the way.

Thursday: Once we got back to Andy's a nap was needed. After the nap Andy took me to downtown Madison where we walked around and saw all the sites. It is such a beautiful city. There are cows painted and sculpted like different characters or famous painting like the pigs we had here in Seattle. My favorite one was the piggy bank cow. Not what I expected at all. I did see lots of cows, but there are cities between all the farms. While on this adventure Andy had to stop at a hotel where he surprised me with checking into a hotel room for the night. It was a very nice hotel and we stayed on the 11th floor with special privileges including free drinks! I was shocked and didn't know what to say. There was champagne and strawberries in the room when we got back from dinner. After dinner we started drinking, why not!

That night we went out to Andy's bar. I really liked the place. Live music and great drinks. I think I was smiling the whole night! He makes me so happy!

Friday: The next morning we grabbed our swim suits and went to the largest water park in the world called Noah's Ark at Wisconsin Dells. It was a lot of fun even though it was a bit cold. Lots of slides and some weird rides. After that we played putt putt and then hit the casino for a buffet. I didn't win any money, but Andy did even when he said he wasn't going to gamble.

Saturday: I slept in later that I should have. I was so exhausted. But we went to see a movie, Pirates 2. Not so great. Had dinner with his parents at a Japanese place. So much food, had my first taste of sushi. It was very good. After that we went to Andy's other bar, a German one. They had polka music and lots of rowdy people drinking from glass boots filled with beer. It was very fun to people watch. After that we went to visit with Stuart and watched some TV.

Sunday: I kinda got sad when I woke up I knew it was only a few hours before I had to leave. I thought how did it go so fast! I only cried just a little when we said good bye. Only one tear....

The flight home was okay. I made both of my flights, but the long flight back to Seattle (3 hours) was a nightmare. I sat in between two fat guys and one who wore short shorts and a fanny pack and smelled of BO. Then he of course have to hold his arm above his head of nearly the whole flight. I had tears in my eyes he smelled so bad! If the flight was not full I would have asked for a new seat. Ugh. Gross.

All in all it was an amazing trip and I didn't want to leave Andy again. It is hard having him all the way over there. I miss him every day. I am just really happy I had the chance to meet him at school and have some money to go visit him this summer. I don't know when I will see him next, but I hope it wont be too long.
