And I guess didn't think it was worth posting...it was saved as a draft...here it is now.
So, school started last week. Friday was my last day at work. We enjoyed a three-day weekend after an unreasonably stressful first week. Feeling scared and filled with doubt once again this semester. Rhonda seems to be as well. I decided last minute to take three classes instead of just two. So, now I have Dr. Snyder's class for which I am the Graduate Assistant (that's right, I even have office hours...but no office) on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:00. I'm taking a History grad class on Wednesdays at 4:00. I'm also taking Dr. Lane's 401 class on the corporation on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30. I figured if I'm not working, why not go to school 4 days a week?
So, the weekend was nice. We were really lazy. Went to a funeral with Rhonda on Saturday afternoon. A lady she worked with. I never met her, but it's sad anyway. Did some reading for corporations class...not much else. Wish I had worked on paper that's due in history class tomorrow. Have to write history of 18th birthday. Not long, 4 pages tops. I'm not even at 2 pages right now. It's even harder to be concise. Surprised I can't remember much about my actual birthday. It's only been 8 years, I'm sure it's been a bit longer for many in the class. I'm just intimidated to be writing the first paper for a strange professor too. Have to write fairly large (20-25 pages) papers in both history class and corporations class at end of semester. Wish me luck.
We've been taking the bus to school. We catch the bus right across the street and it drops us right near our front door. And it's free. Rhonda is on campus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as well so we can go together a lot.
