Here is my Gaia CD based on my original fic in the BSG: Divine Devil universe. It took a long time, but it gives me a lot of inspiration with it as well and is a little spoilery. If you've been reading it, be advised. I know the inside cover is very simple, but it is what it is. Also...yes that is me on the cover, because I think of myself as Gaia...because that's who I am.
Will It Go Round In Circles by Billy Preston
When I started the story, I introduced this woman who you didn't quite know anything about. You didn't know if she would succeed or fail or die in the end. Just didn't know. But as we've learned, everything happens over and over again. The situation is always different and always has someone different in place. That may or may not be the case here.
It's A Man's World by Cher
Even though she's working with a male oprative from the Hard Six division, and they're ranked the same, she still has to follow his orders because it's the Hard Six's problem. So, You'll find out more about that later. I started to hint at it in chapter 3.
Make Your Own Kind of Music by Mama Cass Elliot
Gaia has worked her ass off to get to where she is and she does things her own way. Plain and simple.
Hard As a Rock by AC|DC
This is Gaia through and through. Her Warrior side. Gaia has a few sides. Her personal loving side, her spy side, and her warrior side. This song is definately her Warrior side.
Dream On by Aerosmith
You'll learn where this comes in at, but if you look up the lyrics, I think you can put it together.
You Gotta Be by Des'ree
I don't know if I ever used this in another mix, but this song really shows Gaia's feelings after the fall of the Colonies. I think it was obvious it was going to happen in the story somewhere. But this is what's going through her head over and over.
Weird by Hanson
This really represents the change of feelings that Gaia and the male oprative from the Hard Six division encounter after the attacks. So um...yes they both survive the attacks. I'm not saying they're lovers, but they need to represent and protect one another.
Dust In the Wind by Kansas
This covers an event that occurs and I'm not talking about the Fall. This is something else.
Run by Amy MacDonald
Um...yeah. This is another event that is going to be covered.
In My Life by Bette Midler
This is when Gaia looks back at the end. It really and truely shows her vulnerability to the max.
