- Writing articles that I can't start until people agree to give me quotes is a tad nerve wracking. It also teaches me to be very aggressive ("You didn't reply to my email. Will you please let me know if you can spare 2 minutes to tell me about...?")
-There seems to be something about British TV adaptations which are based off of classic literature and star Billie Piper tend to inspire essays that require the use of Janey Place's introduction to Women in Film Noir. This coincidence doesn't help me edit my writing samples, however, because I seem to have left my copy of WiFN at home, and despite it being one of the seminal works on the subject, none of the databases seem to have a copy of the text. :/
-I was awake for 21 hours yesterday.
-I'm starting to panic that I could have the most perfect app. for publishing school ever, and it wouldn't matter because with this economy everyone's trying to go back to school (Not that this will stop me from trying, mind you. :P)
-Sometimes reliving college in the form of going to a co-op with Rachel, making tofu scramble, and then watching a tv show (Flight of the Conchords, which we wouldn't have watched back in the day, but still.) while eating mint chocolate-chip ice cream can be awesomely relaxing to all involved.
life,
randomness,
procrastinate!
