Happy Easter...

Went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego on Saturday with Vicky, Becky, and Jennk.  Vicky's purpose there was to see the butterfly exhibit that will only be there for the month.  I went for the big kitties. The lions were so cute laying on/in an empty jeep in "the heart of Africa".  The Wild Animal Park just makes me happy compared to the zoo because the animals just run free in their allotted space. Vicky got me to get a dual membership with her so I guess I will be going more this year.

After we got back from San Diego, I met up with Michelle to go see Shutter in the movies.  I went in thinking it would just be another crappy american version of a good japanese horror film.  I'm glad I was wrong because it had been a really long time since I saw a really scary movie.  My feet were on my chair, my hood was on, i covered my face, and I even think I squeeked a couple times trying to muffle my screams. The  people around me were pretty scared too...everyone with their nervous laughter, wondering what the hell was going to happen next.

Today was my lazy day. I slept in until 9am...crazy I know...sleeping in for me used to be like noon or 1pm. But now that I get up at 530am for work everyday...anything past 9 is hard for me to do.  I watched a Tale of Two Sisters online. Its either a Japanese or Korean psychological thriller/horror film.  It scared the crap out of me in broad daylight. Anyways after that, I went with Vicky to the dog park (Central Bark) with our puppies.  Maddox is this 85 pound pit bull/german sheperd and Vicky's dog Saki is a pomeranian. They are so cute together...they have to play in separated sections (big dogs and little dogs) but they always stick close by at the gate and touch noses.

Not looking forward to another week of work....I'm already wishing for it to be Saturday so I can just spend my entire day boarding.  The mountains here are gorgeous. I heart so cal cuz it's got everything here...beaches, mountains, lakes, hiking trails, camp grounds, vineyards!, awesome weather, and every single theme park you could possibly need. And it's only a 4 hour drive to Vegas ; )
