This weekend so far has been crazy, unpredictable, and hectic....

After work on Friday,  I joined a few girls to go to Cabana in Hollywood.  It was alright...minus the "allowed to smoke inside" rule and it being Asian night apparently! Vicky and Angie conveniently forgot to mention that..So a halfie and a white girl stuck out like a sore thumb =p.  After a couple hours, Sandra and I ditched the club and walked up and down Sunset just to breathe.  After our feet started to hurt..we went to the car and just talked and laughed.  After Vicky and Angie were done at the club we tried to get home without falling asleep!

Anyways...I spent the night at Vicky's.  When we woke up the dogs came into her room in the morning as usual and everythign was fine until Mashi looked at me and the fell to the ground convulsing.  I was like...umm wtf Mashi! I knew she has done this before but I had never seen it so i just held her head to prevent any head trauma.  After a minute it stopped, but then she couldnt coordinate her steps...shed take one step and back track. Then she started to seize again but this time it wasnt stopping and everytime it was about to stop it started up.  So I was like Vicky, we need to go to the vet right now.  I was so scared, but I didnt want Vicky to freak out anymore than she needed to.  The vet sedated her, which made her look dead...I wanted to cry but I just sucked it up.  We transported her to the Urgent Care Center so she could have 24 hour surveillance overnight.  She had blood work done to see if the seizures were caused from intra or extra-cranial problems.  The x-rays showed no liquid in the lings and normal blood results. So the vet diagnosed Mashi with epilepsy which dogs wont show signs of until earliest 1 year of age.  She should be fine...but she must be so scared right now...she hates being away from her mama =(

This day has been physically and emotionally draining. Sigh... hopefully the 15 minute long seizure this morning didnt do too much damage... we'll find out tomorrow.
