i just had one of the best days ever
and i dont even know why
AND I WAS AT SCHOOL.

coooool.
there was no drama today
and i had food today at lunch and that was cool
and we had this awesome dude come talk to us today about diversity
and predjudice.

i learned that i am predjudice. there are a lot of types of predjudice.
he gave us a scenerio of a little kid playing at a park,
and when the little boy tried to play with
black kids, mexican kids, asian kids, and middle eastern kids
his parents immediatley gave the little boy a reason or two to not play with those kids.
then Calvin (thats the awesome guy's name) asked us what ethnicity the little boy was.
the whole time i was envisioning a white boy.
Calvin never said the little boy's ethnicity.

and guess what?
Calvin was a black man. with dreads.

look, i just did it to you too.
i bet you envisioned a white man talking to us.

ISNT THAT WEIRD?

ok so yeah today i was incredibly mature (if i do say so myself)
and went up to this boy, who had made a mistake, and said
"Look _______, i do not want to spend the rest of my highschool being mad at you
for a mistake you know you made. And i know you are sorry about making it.
I don't want to be mad at you. you're a nice kid, and i think we should start over and be friends."
After that, the boy was excited and we are friends now.

it's nice.
