Might as well update as not.
Ballet was canceled on Tuesday, on account of coldness.
Wednesday came next. Go figure.
Algebra was....Algebraic. I learned something new. :-O It wasn't remotely difficult, but I'd never learned it before.
Psychology...Oh. We talked about the brain, with a side-track of gender differences. That annoys me so much. She acknowledges that there are differences, but she thinks that that's a result of evolution, fitting in to fit the roles we've been assigned. I raised my hand and asked if the roles mightn't have developed because the brain were like that. She said it was *another theory* of course, but her opinion was that in five hundred year there would be no differences, because in today's culture we're starting to take on essentially the same role as men. Then she contradicted herself and said that the media is ruining today's girls, and convincing them their objects, and it's as if the women's movement never happened. That was interesting.
We had that statistics test. *shiver* I believe I only messed up the geometric mean question, but that was only two points. So hopefully I got an 18/20. We'll see. Class afterwards was uh, quite something. The girl who sits next to Mr. Abercrombie in psychology said he was in Florida, modeling, and soon he's going to California. WHat the heck? He's really not that good looking. And we need him in Statistics to make Nick happy. He asked us to answer this one question, and no one said anything for the longest time, so he was like "We're not moving on until you answer this, Nick can stay here until 7 o'clock if you want." Then he gave us a lecture about why we shouldn't be afraid of being wrong.
It was Annie's birthday, so Aunt Anne, Uncle Joe and Nick came over and we had Chinese take out. :-)
There's nothing really significant to me that ever happens on Thursdays.
And it's usually the same deal with Friday.
Saturday....ballet....Andrew was actually kind of tired. Hahahahahhahahaa. The boys wore him out. Imagine that. I didn't think it was possible. It was a pretty much normal class with Andrew though. I pretty sure he has no idea what my name is, did I ever say that?
Aunt Clare came over to give Annie her present. She gave us manicures. And told us about her admirers, plural. Hee. Then she ate dinner with us and rushed off for her hot date. (To the UCO valentine's day party)
Today we went to Church. All the men's house guys, Colleen, Kelley, and Aunt Clare were there. Now I smell like incense.
Now I have to hurry and get ready to leave for the meeting and small groups afterward.
